PurePressure presses feature heat plates that are manufactured in-house from 100% machined aluminum. The plates exhibit excellent temperature distribution. PurePressure’s custom designed 100% aluminum heat plates qualify for food-grade manufacturing and processing when used with adequate parchment paper, such as their 35lb premium vegetable parchment. PurePressure’s 9″ x 20″ premium parchment paper, suited for the HELIX PRO, is also perfect for freeze dryer trays as well.

Why aluminum? Aluminum plates offer better heat distribution than stainless steel which distributes heat unevenly which can cause discrepancies in your rosin when pressing.
