Blade-wise, the Chikamasa PS-8PLUS-R Pruning Shears are sharp, tough and large. Both the upper and lower blades are made of high quality carbon steel. The upper blade features a fluorine coating while the under blade features a electroless nickel plating. With these blades you get non-sticking, precision cuts and lots of power. The open state of the blades is exceptionally wide so can cut a lot at once. This is a tough pair of pruners!
